Lavderim Hoxha holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Economics. Since 2021, he has been a Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics, where he teaches Marketing and Tourism subjects, integrating his extensive industry experience into his teaching.
Lavderim has a proven track record in business development, successfully driving growth, developing strategic plans, and leading teams across various projects. His expertise in the tourism sector has been instrumental in promoting and advancing key initiatives. He has collaborated with leading international tourism companies, negotiated with well-known hotel brands, and served as a tourism expert consultant for significant international projects led by global organizations in Albania, fostering partnerships and driving growth in the industry.
Currently, Lavderim is working towards his PhD in Sustainable Tourism and holds a professional certificate from the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC). His professional journey also includes a specialized fellowship in tourism through the MIP program by the Albanian American Development Foundation, where he gained valuable experience during a six-month stint at a leading American tourism company.
Lavderim’s educational background is further enriched by Executive Education programs in Leadership and Marketing at Harvard Business School and Columbia University. Outside of his professional life, he is passionate about mountaineering, marathon running, and chess, reflecting his commitment to personal growth and continuous challenge.
