LEAD Albania
Program Components

LEAD Albania is a prestigious leadership initiative that provides exceptional young professionals with the opportunity to gain firsthand experience at the highest levels of government in Albania. Modeled after the White House Fellows Program in the United States, the program comprises three key components delivered over the course of one year:

Fellowship Placement

Fellows are placed as advisers within various high-profile institutions, including the Office of the Prime Minister, the Office of the President, key Ministries, the Parliament of Albania, Tirana Municipality, and the new Justice System Institutions.

Throughout the year, fellows receive continuous professional development through a series of specialized trainings, lectures, and simulations. These sessions are conducted by local experts and renowned professors in the country. The highlight of the Professional Development is the International Executive Programs conducted from the world top educational institutions such as the Harvard Kennedy School in Cambridge, USA. College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium and the Center for Creative Leadership in Brussels, Belgium.

Fellows have the unique opportunity to engage with prominent national and international diplomats and political leaders, including resident Ambassadors in Albania. These interactions provide insights into leadership experiences and best practices from accomplished figures. Additionally, fellows participate in a one-week study visit to Brussels, where they attend meetings at the European Parliament and the European Commission.

The LEAD Albania Program aspires to cultivate a new generation of leaders, contributing to the country's leadership development and ensuring a lasting impact on governance and public service in Albania.
